Counsellor
Roxanne is a qualified counsellor who has experience of working in various specialised fields including; addiction, sexual violence and eating disorders.
Through her work, she has supported individuals who are experiencing grief, low mood, anxiety, trauma, low self-steem and relationship difficulties, as well as those who have simply found themselves in a new situaiton and need someone to talk it through with.
Roxanne believes that a particular experience or diagnosis does not need to define an individual, so it is important to get to know the whole person in order to help them move forward in therapy. She works with an empathic and non-judgemental approach, offering a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Roxanne holds a masters degree (MSc) in Addiction Psychology and Counselling, a post-graduate Certificate in Person Centred Counselling Skills as well as a degree (BSc) in Psychology and Criminology. She is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
