ADHD Coach

Jake Kennard incorporates his ongoing training in counselling and psychotherapy with ADHD coaching to deliver a therapeutic coaching experience that is both open-minded and reflective. While the main focus remains on finding solutions and building forward momentum, he creates space for acknowledging and understanding the adverse experiences, trauma and stresses that so often accompany a life with ADHD symptoms.

Jake works with clients to develop practical strategies, but also welcomes a deeper exploration of our selves. His integrative approach draws on psychodynamic theory, helping clients manage their ADHD, and also rethink how they relate to it: Not as a disorder to be ‘overcome’, but as a complex part of the self that can be met with curiosity, sensitivity and creativity.

While working with Jake, you’ll be welcome to explore new ways of working with your ADHD and experiment with challenging and sometimes overwhelming feelings like shame, frustration, boredom and excitement in a process of discovery and acceptance.
