Psychodynamic Therapist, Couple Therapist and Clinical Supervisor

Catherine is an experienced psychodynamic therapist working with individuals and couples struggling with a wide range of difficulties and relationship issues on both a long term and a short term basis. She is also a Clinical Supervisor, offering fortnightly or monthly sessions, either in person or via Zoom.
She has previously worked as a seminar leader and tutor on the Certificate in Counselling Skills course in Chelmsford. She has also worked for Essex County Council as a Staff Counsellor in Occupational Health seeing council employees struggling with a range of issues.

Catherine has a special interest in reflective and therapeutic writing and has undertaken training to run writing groups..

Catherine holds a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (WPF) as well as a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Studies and has completed the Foundation Course in Group Analysis with the IGA. She has completed her supervisor’s training gaining a Diploma in Supervision and an Award in Education and Training. She has also undertaken additional training in Couples Therapy at both the Tavistock Centre and Chelmsford Counselling Foundation.

Catherine is also an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
