Person Centred Counsellor
Sally is an experienced Person Centred Counsellor who has worked with a wide range of individuals with a diverse range of issues. She is passionate about providing an environment where the individual feels heard, accepted and understood and believes this key relationship between the individual and the counsellor allows the individual to work towards a greater self-understanding.
As a former qualified nurse, Sally worked in the field of oncology and palliative care. She brings her warmth and compassion and aims to provide a safe, caring and confidential space for the individuals she sees.
Sally has particular experience of working with young adults, aged 18 and over and has also worked in pastoral roles in both secondary and further education. As well as having worked in a GP’s surgery and student counselling services, she currently works with adults of all ages. She offers both online and face to face sessions, for both short-term and long-term work.
Sally holds a degree (BSc) in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and is an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy , BACP (Accred).
