Psychodynamic Counsellor

Will is an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and has worked with a range of individuals experiencing some difficult psychological and emotional problems. His experience includes working with issues around anxiety, depression, anger and relationship problems and also bereavement and grief, abuse, self harm and suicidal thoughts.

Will is compassionate about the therapy he offers and how he aims to openly explore every psychological and emotional aspect to the difficulties faced by his clients. In particular his approach allows for the exploration of past experiences and how they impact on current problems.

As a counsellor Will approaches each client differently depending on the experiences they wish to bring to their sessions. As such, approaches regarding attachment and object relations as well as Jungian, Kleinian and Freudian perspectives lend themselves to exploring the client's inner world and their unique experiences.

He enjoyed training both in London and in Chelmsford, where the values of both empathy and academic expertise were the important twin-pillars in his personal development as a counsellor.

Will holds a Professional Clinical Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
